Description
Bright, resolved, unmistakably the Cape.
Chenin Blanc is the grape South Africa built its reputation on – often called the “chameleon” for how faithfully it reflects the place it’s grown. Brilliant pale straw, catching flashes of lime-green in the light. The nose unfolds with guava, crisp Granny Smith apple, and ripe pear, closing on a delicate trace of honeysuckle. Fresh and lively on the palate, carried by a crisp, crunchy acidity of tropical fruit and lemon zest, with a subtle waxy texture that marks out only the finest Chenin. Clean and precise through to the finish, with a lingering note of honeyed fruit and a refreshingly dry close.
Serving Suggestion/Food Pairing: Best served chilled alongside fresh oysters, grilled prawns, goat’s cheese salads, or light pasta dishes, dinner tables, quiet confidence, people who know exactly what they like.
